COVID-19: We Will Win the Marathon

Over the past few months we all have been living in an uncertain time brought to us by the ‘severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2’ (SARS-CoV-2). SARS-CoV-2, which was previously known as the 2019 novel coronavirus, is a member of a broader family of coronaviruses (CoV) that cause a range of illnesses, from the common cold to more severe diseases including Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV) . As we all know, signs and symptoms of COVID-19 vary greatly from mild respiratory symptoms, fever and cough, to more severe symptoms such as shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. It can be serious in some cases if the vital organs get effected.   According to the CDC, symptoms can develop 2-14 days after exposure.
